Ron Bell attended law school at Villanova University, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1974. He is admitted to practice law in New Mexico, Pennsylvania and the US Supreme Court. He has been practicing law for twenty-five years, the past seventeen in New Mexico. He is a member of the New Mexico State Bar, the State Bar of Pennsylvania, the American Bar Association, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.   Ron Bell has been a pioneer in the area of lawyer advertising, becoming famous initially for his "I sue drunk drivers" campaign. He was the first attorney to use outdoor advertising in America; the first to use MTV; and the first attorney to use indoor billboards at malls.
